MEMBERSHIP

The IGC offers two types of membership: corporate membership and personal (private) membership. When a company becomes a member – after a balot –, it can itself nominate a number of people to represent the organisation and use the membership. These people are called ‘card holders’. If you do not qualify for corporate membership, you will be registered in a personal capacity after a ballot.
Corporate membership
Business or corporate membership offers:
• the opportunity for two or more people (referred to as ‘card holders’) to exercise membership
• admission to the facilities and club activities
• special networking opportunities
• opportunities to introduce prospective members
• access to a network of Dutch and international clubs
• twice annually, use of one of the rooms for a presentation, meeting, dinner or other event, free of charge
• the third and following occasions in the same year will carry a 25% discount on the room hire rates; reservations for lunch or dinner in a meeting room carry a 50% discount on the room hire rates
• mention of the company name in the annual report, on reviews and lists of participants
• a link to your corporate web site on the Club web site
Private membership
Private membership offers:
• admission to the facilities and club activities
• special networking opportunity
• opportunities to introduce prospective members
• access to a network of Dutch and international clubs
• 10% discount on the room hire rate for use of one of the meeting rooms
• reservations for lunch or dinner in a meeting room carry a 50% discount on the room hire rates
Partner membership
All members (including card holders) can nominate their spouse or partner as a member, on condition that they are resident at the same address. Partner members may make use of the facilities and take part in the Club's activities, but they have no voting rights at the General Members' Meeting.
Ballot
All prospective members will first be the subject of a ballot vote. An application for membership must be sponsored by three existing members, at least one of whom must be a corporate member. Further information on this procedure in conformity with our Rules of Procedure will be sent to you after receipt of your application.
