Marjorie Barnes, First & World Class Jazz Vocalist, vocalist and performer in London (Royal Albert Hall), Paris, Vienna, Las Vegas, in big bands (Metropole Orchstra) and trio settings; Bob Wijnen (gr p), (met gehandicapt gezichtsvermogen) behoort tot de toppianisten van ons land, accompanist, composer; Simon Rigter (t sx) lid JazzOrchestra of the Concertgebouw; Marcel Seriese (dr) idem; Dan Nicholas (gui) Irland; Johnny Daly (dbs) New York. Marjorie also worked alongside with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis jr, Mel Lewis and had starring roles on Broadway (musicals Hair, Dreamgirls); teaching at conservatories The Hague, Hsum. Bob Wijnen: his 'trademark' sensitivity, depth, elegant, adventurous. The music of Equinox is inspired by Thelonius Monk, Billy Strayhorn, Charles Mingus, Horace Silver.
