In the public opinion The Netherlands is increasingly ridiculed as a 'tax heaven'. In reality, however it has a long history of important, and sometimes uniquely negotiated tax treaties. Its fiscal environment is of vital importance for our open and outbound economy. And it all adds up: advance tax ruling policy, flexible corporate law system, absence of capital tax, participation exemption, absence of interest- and royalty-withholding tax. Do not judge pennywise and loose pound foolish.
Mr. Frank Nagel will share this and other insights on the importance of The Netherlands as a "hub" or "base" in international financial and fiscal business. Frank began his career in 1995 as a tax lawyer with Ernst & Young with a focus on international corporate income tax. In 2001 Frank became co-owner and managing director of NC Trust BV (formerly the trust company Delta Lloyd).
