Europe Fit for the Digital Decade. A Status Update

EU Digital Decade 2030, data & cybersecurity strategies, challenges & opportunities for business, economy & society

Dynamics in the Digital Age
At an ever-increasing pace, technology is constantly shaping society along with every other sector of our local, regional national, European Union and global economies by giving it the impetus needed to accelerate digital transformation and to help address the societal challenges at hand - and to be expected in the mid and longer term. It also influences our sovereignty, both as individuals, organisations, society, regions, states, alliances, allies and friends, and their respective data.

Europe Fit for the Digital Decade
In this session, we will dive into both the strategic opportunities that the EU vision and related policies bring about, as well as how to strategically transform by addressing risks into enablers. We will first zoom out, to achieve the best oversight possible in the developments while seeking opportunities and identifying risks. Then we will zoom in, to comprehend the connections and intertwining of these n-dimensional puzzles, in order to pinpoint where certain existing, new or upcoming EU regulations and policies are most relevant. Next up, we will address how to strategise for organisations and their various stakeholders.

The session is aimed to anyone who is interested to figuring out how they can become Fit for the Digital Decade as a business leader, decision maker or influencer.
