An analysis of "Tauromaquia" - bullfighting - through history to modern times, examining its cultural significance and consequent impact on the arts in a wider sense. Main Speaker: Mr. Piero Cattarini, Spanish I.G.C. member and bullfighting afficionado. Guest Speaker: Mr. Pim Maas (born Amsterdam 1944), unique as the only Dutch "torero" - bullfighter - in 500 years of the recorded history of the art. His career, which spanned 1961 to 1962, included exhibitions in such noted 'plazas' as Mallorca, Zaragoza, Torremolinos and Tarragona, achieving a career total of 8 ears - the accolade awarded a torero for exceptional performance.
